Facilities
Good facilities are required to ensure that you can study in peace and comfort, and the Naganuma School can offer everything you need.
Computer room
A fully-equipped computer room has Windows PCs and Apple i-macs, all connected to the internet with a high-speed link and accessible from morning to evening. Students who bring their own notebook computers can connect to the LAN (Local Area Network) in the classrooms.
Library
The library contains all the reference materials and texts you need to support your classroom studies, including all the Naganuma texts of course. Self-study is an important part of your Japanese language learning, and Naganuma School offers full support for your studies after class hours by providing space and materials for study, and teachers are always available for consultation.
Language laboratory
The language laboratory is open for students' use from morning to evening when not in use for classes. During that time, there are ample spaces for you to practice your listening comprehension and prepare for examinations, catch up with lessons, repeat sections of the course you feel necessary, or as part of normal lessons. The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of materials that you can use to complement your course, or you can bring your own study materials if you prefer.
Cafe
The school's on-site cafe is open every weekday, and provides the focal point for student life. In the area there are also restaurants, cafes and a convenience store, although most students tend to go to Shibuya (about 10 minutes by foot) for lunch after lessons finish.
Recording studio
The recording studio is used for preparing materials specially for classes, for example if the teacher considers the class needs further exercise on a particular point, but is more usually used to prepare the tapes that accompany the Naganuma texts.
